Customer Review: Great item, great service.
I received my soft pink leather camera case the day after ordering it. Nicely packaged. The item is lovely. It’s a nice girly pink, and well paddded so fits my Canon Ixus 75 perfectly. There is a little pocket for a spare SD card, and a useful beltclip, although I don’t personally use it. I was looking for a change from the standard black case that Canon do for my camera, and this one was about ?5 cheaper too. All round great product, at a good price, from a good seller.

Group Portrait Photography Handbook

Langford’s Starting Photography: A Guide to Better Pictures for Film and Digital Camera Users -

Group Portrait Photography Handbook Customer Review: Great Book
I’ve read this book cover to cover at least three times in as many weeks, and will be refering back to it often.

It’s enjoyable reading and conveys clearly the fundementals of photography in general, and group photography (exposure, lighting options, focal length, depth of field, composition, design and posing) in particular.

It is supported by many great photographs and technical details of the effect that was sought and how it was obtained.

The book does not dwell on equipment options, but this is largely because of its focus - namely, the various effects one can achieve and how to obtain them.

One senses that the author really wants the reader to learn and grow, and his personality does not intrude.

If you are looking for a book on group photography you can’t go wrong with this.

By the way, the author has written other books on complementary subjects, so if you like him that much you can purchase his other books - or those of the publisher listed in the back.
